Thank you.

Thank you for your presence

Blessing me with your spontaneous influence

Opening the doors to freewheeling adventures

Thank you for your sadness as it urges me to

Find happiness in the most mundane

Spikes of energy to counter your depressive lethargy

I’ve ripped out all anxieties as we’re polar opposites (supposedly)

You’ve pulled me out of the quicksand

The piece that’s been missing, me weaving the final piece of the tapestry

Ever banishing my loneliness

That I thought would remain for all eternity

So thank you for your loneliness

My gratitude is overflowing for your misery

Your struggles redeem me

And your death has breathed new life into me

Selfish as it might seem, I found comfort in your suffering

When you lost yourself, I reclaimed me.
